A living room opened to the garden with a single wall of glass, furnished in oak, linen and travertine so the view stays the centre of the room.
The original room had two small windows and a dark false ceiling. We replaced the garden wall with sliding glass, removed the ceiling to recover thirty centimetres of height and hid the lighting in a single slot along the back wall.
The palette is deliberately short: oak floors, lime-washed walls, linen upholstery and a travertine coffee table. Colour comes from the cushions, the art and the garden itself, which changes through the year.
