Smile Dental Clinic

Healthcare interior · reception & waiting lounge

A reception that lowers the heart rate: a curved fluted desk under a ring of soft light, oak slats, sage upholstery and daylight from a garden window.

Patients decide how they feel about a clinic in the first ten seconds. The reception is the first thing they see: a curved white desk with a fluted front and a travertine top, set against an oak-slatted wall with the clinic's mark lit from behind. A ring of indirect light in the ceiling marks the arrival point without glare.

The waiting lounge feels closer to a living room than a corridor — a sage sofa, bouclé armchairs, plants and a full-height window. Every surface was chosen to be easy to clean without looking clinical.

Patients tell us the clinic doesn't feel like a clinic. That was exactly the brief — and it was delivered on time and on budget.
